im not the most experienced with smart pots, and i use 5gal. How much runoff are you getting with the 2 cups? at that stage of growth i was probably giving 5-6. But again, different pot size and material. Smart pots dry out quicker than plastic and have a tendency to prune the roots if too dry. that could be what youre going through
