Hows it going man ?

The seeds from the BW, where it hermed and pollinated itself. Will most likely produce hermaphrodite prone females. I'm not sure if it would have any negative effect on any of the other plants it pollinated.

A friend of mine gave me a bunch of OG Kush seeds from a self pollinated hermaphrodite. Anyways I was quite shocked when I ended up with every seed that popped ended up being a female. (this is when he told me how the seeds had come about) So I figured great all females and started flowering them. Well wouldn't you know every single one of them turned herm on me. I was bummed !!

Just figured I'd mention it.
I wouldn't want you to invest a bunch of time and energy into it like I did.

yea, thanks for the heads up. I have been worried about that and really have been debating on trashing them. but i will probably keep the others as from what I understand pollen from a female plant that pollinates another fem isn't as bad as a self pollinated herm correct? Either way they will be a side project Im not gonna rely on those....

Yes correct. They should be feminized seeds actually. (there are some additional factors at play. like the mothers herming potential)
The only ones I wouldn't put much stock in are the ones that came from the herm that pollinated itself.

what's up man, there doing good. THeir nice thick and green I was gonna do a journal but no one cares about veg so I won't throw any shots up till flower but the diesel loved the top it has branched out so nice and is so dark green and healthy my criticals... well they both are definetly diff because one is growing wonderfully and took to the top very well the other is growing wierd (deformed leaves) and just lackin it. My shark attack was strugglin from too strong of SS soil but it's now evening out and starting to catch up and look good. the diesel and shark attack are what Im really lookin forward too. I may weed out the one shitty one and just veg these three longer and make some moster bushes! Im pretty jealous of your forest! can't wait to see harvest.

hahaha good call brother, Im actually waiting to hear back from one last buddy. I gave sample packs out to some people and myself have been tokin on one strain per day to give an accurate description.

Ok well I've been tokin on these for over a week now. They were all cured 2wks before I startin sampleing. I prefer a month or two cure before actually getting my smoke sacks. I gave some samples out to others to try and give feed back. The results are pretty much the same across the board on taste and high except it seems everyone has their own favorite. For instance I prefer the Blue widow because it has a knock out high and a real funky smell. My girlfriend loves the White Siberian which I am very partial too as well. It is exceptionally smooth and the nugs have the most amazing appeal. THen the LA is a couple of my buddies favorites.

Blue Widow
The senses on the blue widow is mostly the same for everyone. It has a very strong pungent odor as soon as the jar is cracked the room reeks! It is exceptionally pretty with a very whiteish cast over the green nugs. Their is also some purple throughout the nugs. The high is amazing for me. It goes straight to the head and makes it feel like its 3 times bigger. This is my personal favorite. I also got the most of this one so thats a bonus. I can't really describe the taste other than really stinky pungent smell/taste. I've had nugs that tasted like this before but can't explain it. Since this went hermie and pollinated everything it has the most seeds although im only finding 3-5 per big nug so it's no worries. Im not going to sprout these as I don't want to risk them hermieing.

White Siberian
This is my runner up. The nugs have amazing bag appeal. Super light lime green nugs with dark orange hairs all over. They are at about 60%RH inside the jars and are super sticky unlike my BW that are at 59% and crispy dry. (the BW was dried to quickly I believe) The nugs I can take and push against the wall and they will stick!! love it! and the smoke is soo smooth it's deadly, you can hardly tell you took a hit. THe taste is pretty good nothing exceptional. Im finding like 2-3 seeds per big cola so Atleast I got some fem seeds of this!!

LA Confidential
WEll this was the one I was looking forward too the most. It has always been a long time favorite of mine but Unfortunatly it is my least favorite. Because of the LST'in this plant didn't get very big nor produce big colas. when I grow la again I will try topping or fiming and see if that's any better. The plant looked amazing COMPLETELY purple! the nugs look almost black in the jars because they also are completely purple. Ok so the smoke... It actually is really really smooth and has a cool taste. I think it taste's like berries and my gf and buddy are convinced it does as well. So the taste and smoothness are right on. but the potency it's lacking like IM making it sound, it actually has a good punch. It creeps up on ya. and gets you on that couchlock pretty good but the high only lasts an hour or hour and half. This one unfortunatly has quite a few seeds in the nugs but nothing more than 20% of each nug. This is a couple of buddies favorites.

lets put it like this when I choose to grow these seeds Im DEFINITLY growing the white siberian again and possibly will be looking for a suitable mother as this plant has alot of potential unfortunatly the yield wasn't as great as the BW but the quality of nugs were amazing.

i'm still sitting on 3 WS beans and 2 LA.... after this journal/report i'm excited to give the WS a go.....

On a side note... if you are positive the BW was the only hermi, and pollinated that WS... i would plant and stabilize! call it "Blue & White" or "Siberian Widow"

hahah my thoughts exactly! ill literally probably start 20 or so at a time and just weed out most of them leaving me a good handful, I'll clone and flower and see which one I like best for a mother. but yea man that WS is pretty fucking fire! It's funny I sat down with my pops last night and we blazed a bowl of the LA and the WS and I was asking him what he thinks he just laughed and said dude their all good how can you tell them apart. lol anyways I haven't been givng the la a fair shot cause I got rpped off of sharing a bowl... I normally just twist the LA up in a blunt and get faded!!! haha let me know when you get those going I wanna tag along!

Thanks for the smoke report.....I too have been sitting on a couple of LA Confidential seeds that I was curious about. I guess it will go in with my next indica grow. To me, White Siberian and White Widow have a very similar taste and very similar head exploding high.Nice journal and nice report...thanks

ok so a month has passed and the jars REAK when taking the lid off! Things have changed a bit from the last report. The BW is still one hell of a strong head high, the pungent smell has kinda mellowed out to a nice strong bud smell but not as strong (I sound retarded trying to explain that) the White SIberian hits sooooo fucking smooth BUT doesn't pack the super punch Im looking for like in the Blue Widow. then the LA which has crept it's way back into my number 1 spot. it creeps up and knocks your dick off. It has gotten so much stronger in the last few weeks, unfortunatly I only have a half left.

Isn't that the way it always is? We always smoke our favorite stuff up first, leaving the other buds for later. I'm down to half ounce of Jock Horror (my fav) With three seedlings that won't be ready for a couple of months.

lol I know right!! well I figure I got a zip of the BW and about a zip of the WS left so hopefully I can stop myself from rolling blunts all day and start smoking more frugaly, considering my next crop is still in veg... But that last half of LA is going in the back of the sock drawer for that rainy day! I was actually thinking of reveggin this time around, I have a sour diesel that is looking amazing and I put em all in 6gal pots so they have plenty of room and time to live! Let me know how those seedlings turn out!
