Sharksbreath overdue not turning amber

I am two weeks past what the flowering time says for this strain. I pre trimmed all the fan leaves so all that is still under lighting is bud. I keep checking everyday yet no amber trichomes yet.

I'd love a strain that never turns amber Amber is degraded THC. Look for cloudy, if most are and it's done (swollen calyxes and no new fresh white pistils) chop 'm.

you could try lowering the temps a tad,and the humidity also..

So you cut off all the fan leaves and you're wondering why it's taking longer? Those are what power the plant!

yea that part didnt register..its never a good idea to cut healthy leaves off..cant put on weight with your mouth sewn shut...

I phucked up because I thought once I saw cloudy it would be okay to chop off some fan leaves. But since your saying fan leaves is how the buds get energy... Will I ever get amber trichomes? I think probably if I waited more. But not as soon had I not trimmed the fan leaves.

the leafs are how the WHOLE plant gets energy..its not like they are just for the bud..cutting off the energy supply just slowed it down to a near halt..give it a few days,look for subtle changes..you dont want full amber anyhow,just the start of amber...
