Noticed this thread was alive again and thought I would update w/ my Sharksbreath grow.....After the original one plant I grew I ordered a 6 pack from Attitude.

All 6 germed and sprouted, I noticed 2 different looking phenos, and have takes clones of each plant. The 2 different phenos were distinct about 4 weeks into veg and the difference seems to be more noticeable now that they are flowering. Theres a fuller shorter pheno and one that has more node spacing and stretches more in flower. Im thinking the leggy one has more of a Sativa look and is the LB dominant pheno. The leggy ones look more like the 1 plant I grew out earlier tha I was so happy with.

heres a pic of the shorter denser pheno at 20 days flowering, one of the "sativa" pheno is in the background to the left.

Jamaica has lambsbread like everywhere in Jamaica and sure folks keep their own gardens and would maybe get they like one over another. It's kinda interesting to plant a story about captain hook or whatever planting the seeds of his favorite party favor and it and then being selected virtually. Population genetics says any persistant part of the environment that in any way changes us will change our mating. It's just gotta be something I'd love to check!

I remember smoking a small splif of Lambsbread in the late 70's and I was annihilated for hours. It was a multi level creeper stone that continued on for waves... unforgettable. I so want that strain in my grow room (if it even still exists). They say Lambsbread is simply a colloquial jamaican term used for high end smoke. I did order some Lambsbread from Hemcy seeds under their Jamaican strain which they claim to be the Lambsbread strain. I'm about to find out about this Lambsbread strain. I just recently harvested a Sharksbreath and just had to try some out pre-cure. The high actually took my back to that Lambsbread knockout creeper effect of old, but the Lambsbread stone I remember had even more mind warping intensity per bowl. Sharksbeath is a keeper in my books. Nice Sharksbreath Pics you all posted............

I gotta wonder if the couple people like FDD that didnt seem to like the strain were basing their impressions from a single plant/pheno?

My original plant stank, was frosty, tasted phenomenal and packed a great high. On the new batch Im running I have one thats at just under 4 weeks and is starting to frost up and have that similar smell from my first try. Keeping my fingers crossed this run is on par as my first grow w/ the strain.

i bought a pack of fem seeds. planted 3 of them. they all grew the same. i was unhappy. no smell, flavor, or resins. it grew along side a garden full of numerous other strains. i gave half of it to my buddy the other day. he said he'd smoke it. :)

land race sativa from jamaica-
there is no such thing has a jamaican landrace.... a landrace is a strain of cannabis in this situation that grows in a certain area naturally, w/o human help!!!! this doesnt not happen in jamaica, and cannabis sativa, or indica does not grow on the island naturally... all the old school jamaican strains were hybrids of south east and south west asian LANDRACES...

imo it cannot be a landrace if it hasnt grown there for many many many generations w/o any help from man and still thrives....

examples of countries tha have true landrace cannabis of decent or high cannboid content are vietnam, cambodia, laos, thailand, india, pakistan, afghanistan, lebannon, turkey, the balkans in eastern europe, columbia, pannama, brazil, belize, mexico...... not jamiaca... not hawaii...

i can dig the colors but the trichome coverage is nothing special.... ive grown bagseeds from good brick like 13 years ago and had them come out around the same level of frostyness... just keeping it real..... im a lil biased has well... im not fond of the "white" family...

Yeah Id be bummed if I had those results too.....I have noticed one thing in the batch I have flowering right now, the one pheno that is gonna be a very nice yielder has less of a smell than the other "sativa dominant" pheno, the sativa like pheno has a much more pungent smell and more resin at an earlier stage.

seems to be some mixed results, maybe the strain isnt very stable?

FDD is this the same grow you ran the Hashplant Haze, if so what was your impression of that?

I hear you too.....Ive grown out some bagseed that was great.

This is my first time growing any of the white strains, and youre correct about the lack of heavy trichs from what Im seeing so far in this grow. The smell is the smell I remembered from the first run I had w/ the strain. I have a perpetual grow so Im keeping my fingers crossed on getting 1 killer pheno to keep in my grow. Gotta admit, I was pumped when I started these beans due to my experience in the past now Im getting myself ready for the possibility of a disappointment.

You know it's true! Bagseed is every dang thing you can and since you must find a plant that takes care of you! It's only bragging rights you get off named weed! But the buddly is pretty self evident don't you think?:)

Dood, you saying there are no cannabis growing in Ja or HI that ain't thriving on it's own without mans help. I suspose it'l need to be abundantly growing all over the countryside before they are willing to call it landrace.

Here's my Sharksbreath. Didn't take too much care of it because it was a freebie but plan to top and super crop the clone I have. I had a slight nute burn or deficiency but flushed her twice since then and seemed to recovered ok.

I lost about 4 days of growth on her (instead of being under 600w hps I had them under 200w cfl until the new flower room was done) due to moving but hope she blows up these last few weeks
