Sexless?

So I have 4 White Chocolates going at the moment, which have been flowering for over 3 weeks. The size they are now (very small, especially having been alive for over 5 weeks) is maybe 20% larger than they were when they entered the 12/12. There's been very little growth at all. Today they were fed with super thrive, and a slow supply of CO2 has been added to my box.

They are still not showing signs of sex however, but I'm worried that due to their small size they are and I'm just unable to see it. Is there any way to determine their sex? I have 2 PK going that are roughly 4 times the size and budding nicely, I don't want to see them pollinated.

I'd include pics, but every time I drag an image into the flash-attachments window that opens, it leaves the page and opens the image full size.

u put them in to flower too soon bra. they were not mature enough to flower yet. u screwed all of the plants up man. better jus to start over with four new ones.

Thanks for the replies! I was able to put the pictures on photobucket, and from there attach them to this post. Pictured is the largest of the four, taken today.


Are you sure? They were roughly 5-6 inches tall when I started flowering them, with a few sets of true leaves and a solid root system. Basically a size that I've been told is acceptable for clones, so I guess I just don't see why it's too early from seed. Since they've entered the cycle there has been continued leaf production at the nodes. The whole reason I started so early is my last crop (Sour Diesel) more than doubled in size during flowering (I'm almost inclined to say nearly tripled) and my grow space is limited. I don't want to kill them :(

Sour Diesel is a stretchy plant to be sure. I think you will have to be patient, and wait until the hormones in the plant convert to flowering hormones. The reason clones respond well when flowered is that they are basically a mature plant...chronologically. Seedlings dont respond as quickly because they are not mature. Its really simple. Just be patient, and it will in time, start to flower. However you wont get the yield off it you might have by vegging longer. In the future, wait until the plant is about a foot tall, and has at least 5 to 6 nodes. This is a perfect time to flower.

That makes sense. And yeah I have no problem taking a hit on yield, I figured it would be better to do that than to have them outgrow their living quarters before the trichs matured (my PK are almost too big, and the White Chocolates are 55/45 S-Dom.) I'd be really sad if 4 out of the package of 10 seeds I got went to waste, because I jumped the gun no less.
