Severe light burn begining 3rd week flower

Came home and some of my plants looked compketed dried out, smelled the same as a hanging plant when hatvested/drying leaves. 3rd week of coowering and a lot of the plants dont look great anymore like the need to recover. They just simply arent ideal would it be best to revert back to geg? Start fresh even though in spent nearly 8 weeks vegging? Will they recover if i let them go? Please help.

What? You didnt notice this happening over time and you just let it happen till it got this severe?

Light burn until it smells? Thats fn bad...so bad that i would guess light burn isnt your problem. And without any more info nobody can help you...

Got any pics u can post? That would give us a better prospective on just how bad they r burnt and if there's any hope for them.

I would post pics and details of your entire setup. At least show us your canopy and lights. I'm guessing you need to use a net and do a scrog sounds like your plants are growing into the lights. The first 4 weeks of flower your plants will continue to grow tall. Try and plan accordingly before you flip the switch. Look what I did when the plants got to close to the light. I put in a net and bent all the tops down and laced them through the net.
