Setting Up New Room

What's up guys. So I'm about to have my first child and need to rearrange my grow spaces. Right now I'm in a bedroom with a walkin closet. Running a 2x2 for clones, 3x3 for veg, and 4x5 of my closet to flower.

New room is just a walkin closet. 6 foot wide, 4ft deep on 1 side 6.5 deep on the other. Pretty much decided either, flower in 2x 2x4 tents and veg in 2x 2x2 stacked on top of each other and veg in a 2x3. Will flip either 1 2x2 or the 2x3 to flower when veg backs up.

Or just divide the room into 2 sections. Veg in like a 2x4 and use the rest for flower. Thinking just a lot of tents will be easier to keep light out of flowering areas but idk. Gonna put a portable ac in here along with a dehuy and small humidifer.

Any advice/ideas? Its gonna be crammed either way but I think I can make it work. Kinda excited actually.

If you want to dedicate one to flower and one to veg, I would do 4x4 on one side for VEG and a 6x6 on the other for flower. That will give you a couple feet on one side to store nutes and equipment. Personally, I don't like moving plants too much, so I would do a 4x4 on each side and then you can forget moving plants and just flip the light schedule when it's time to change.

Lol you dont wanna see a pic of it now. It's a mess, my actual closet. Until I download sketchup on my laptop this'll have to do.

So at this point im scraping the original idea. 2x4.5ish ft side on the left will be for veg, and right side for flower. Walls lined, and partition made of mylar.

At this point i really need to figure out ventilation. Thinking since it's near winter, no exhaust just pull air in from outside to cool. 4" fan on veg side vented to flower side, and 6" fan hooked to filter on flower side vented no where. 6" fan pulling outside air in from window.

Prolly sounds confusing, and maybe I'm over complicating things. I'm gonna download sketchup soon and will make a nice drawing. Really about to get this under way I'll throw up any pics of progress here. Thanks for any help.

That'd be fantastic except the closet is only 6.1ft wide. At this point I've scraped the idea of any tents. I move plants on a regular basis to get to the plants in the back. With a 4x5 flower area no room for aisles lol.

Ok, that pic gave more context. From the description I thought it was a rectangle room with 6x6 on one side of the door and 6x4 on the other...

Yeah, I would just cut down the center with a light blocking blanket or foam insulation panels.

What about smell and temp control? What sort of lights are you planning on flowering an vegging with?

Gonna use pretty much same everything I'm running now. Veg lights are e27 leds, flower lights are 750 watts of Samsung strips.

Smell and temp.. I just need to figure out the orientation of my fans. Right now I have 2 6" fans and a 4". Was gonna vent the veg side to the flower side with the 4", run one of the 6" hooked to a carbon filter on the flower side (vented no where). And the last 6" fan connected to a window bringing outside air in. Or tradination way, vent veg to flower with 4" and exhaust flower side with a 6". Guess I need to set it up and see what the temps end up looking like.

It sounds like your over complicating this hardcore.

Here's a little better drawing.

Fan on the left will vent to flower side. Fan at top right doesnt vent anywhere just to scrub. Fan at the bottom pulls cold air from outside to cool room.

Other option is remove bottom right fan, and have top right fan exhaust heat. Only issue I have is idk if that will keep it cool enough, and I dont have a passive intake, only fresh air would be coming from the 1" gap under the door. So leaning toward 3 fans right now.

Partition is 2ft from the wall. Wall the bottom fan is on is 31".

Got most of the ceiling covered with wood for hanging everything. Next weekend I gotta cover the walls, build the partition, and hopefully get everything moved. Oh and get the carpet up, 12mil white tarp for the floor, cut to size, should be interesting.
