Set to make some cookies today but have a question about ratio

I bought some sugar cookie mix the other day. Last time i made cookies i used choc chip.

I had used canna butter but this time i am using Coconut canna oil.

The recipe the choc chips i made called for 1 cup of butter and i used 1 cup canna butter for that batch.

This sugar cookie recipe calls for 1/2 cup butter.

I want to use the coconut canna oil but i am not sure to use 1/2 cup or 1 cup of oil?

Now to me this oil is way better than the butter i made. I slow cooked this oil at 200 degrees for almost 24 hours. So maybe using 1/2 cup would be wise as this may kick my arse.

Yet if i get the choc cookies then i can use the one cup i got ready and just make sugar cookies since oven will be up and running.

Just wanted to check to see if any one has advice on this or guidance. thanks

I'm a fan of the oil, too. I'd just use whatever the recipe calls for, dude.

Well personally, I use more. Because i like em greasy and strong

Just ate a fresh cookie an hour ago.

I prefer butter and I bake butter cookies from scratch.
I use a basic recipe from the web. (Very easy)
I use an ounce of bud per 2 sticks of butter.
I grind my bud and dump it into a folded foil pouch fold edges up tight and Decarb for 40 minutes at 300 degrees. Let package cool for safe handling.
Then use a hot water bath 165 degrees in a slow cooker. (Medium on my crock pot)
I use a Pyrex measuring cup to hold the butter and bud in the middle of the slow cooker.
I run it for 12 hours then cool and strain and squeeze.
I clean my butter 4 times for a cleaner flavor.
I make the same amount my cookie recipe calls for.
I Just starting to feel my first buzz now, I am looking forward to getting a nice strong buzz!
Bless,
DZ
