This plant right here has been vegged for like ~6 weeks, topped like a mug. Its now 16 days into flower under a 400watt hortilux HPS. The space im currently growing in ( dont hate too much) is litterally 2.5' x 1'x 6' tall. It gets really hot in there when the door is closed and I am starting to think more and more that it could be heat/light burn. I started out with 300 PPMs of nutes, everything looked good, and about 3 days later i doubled up and gave it 700, it still looked completely fine. We then found bugs, so i sprayed the bottom leaves 3 times, 3 seperate days, and then sprayed the top of the plant with water to clean off all the soap. After the previous 700 PPM feeding, when the soil was dry 3-4 days after I gave it 1000 PPMS and even THEN everything looked fine. So when it dried 4 days after that I threw in 1100 PPMs and this is when it all started going downhill. Im basically obsessed with my plants and find myself sitting in the room sometimes and an hour went by and i have just stared at it for nothing, so I noticed some light yellowing which turned into darker yellowing, so i flushed it right out with water. Ever since that day things have been declining and now im not sure if my DRY, CURLING, CRACKING, BLACK-SPOTTED leaves are being caused by....The insect soap (Maybe I oversprayed and now it poisoned my plant and drying it out slowly?Light Burn - it does get real hot in there when the door is closed, the plant was only about 7-8 inches away up until yesterday, i moved it now about a foot and a half away and added a fan so kill some of the heat from the bulb but since yesterday I will be honest, the plant does look worse so I dont know if it is the lightNute Burn - Too many nutes and raising the levels too quicklyGuys any help here is boss and I) will love you forever.Another side note, my fert is 15-30-15 plant prod, which if used before, but not with the PPPM reader. and never had this issue.I am going to flush it again I think and see what happens.Any help again would be swizzle. Thanks guys keep it burning

Excuse the iPhone pictures, i am one shaky guy. but you will get the point. Dry leaves, they can break in half by the touch, i can roll them in my fingers and they will literally break up into dust. I am making a new growbox today, or tomorrow. I am actually starting to believe its a ventillation problem, it seems that the ones the worst case of this are the ones that end up touching the walls in my closet when the door is closed. Anyway i will leave the rest for the experts, please ask any questions if itll help you figure out the problem Thanks http://img406.imageshack.us/img406/5218/picture2001.jpg

like no lie seriously i throw the thermometer in there and close the door for an hour and its like 37c

im thinking its too much light

i inherited this plant and i decided to bust out the ballast and do just 1 plant for fun but didnt really have time to put it anywhere, i think that 400 watts a foot over this plant is just too much especially when its only 1 foot wide and the light is so focused

i should be good now guys thanks

but one more thing do you think the soap from the insect spray could have been it? i left it on for so long

What is the pH of your soil? Don't overthink it. It's almost always one of the basics- light, heat, air flow, or pH. Once you have the atmosphere controlled correctly, you can narrow down your problem sources even more. IMO, the pH is too high, and you've locked out some nutrients as a result, but I could always be wrong.

37c is 98 fahrenheit having that on you plant with the 400w light aswell sounds like your cooking it. from what i read that in turn can cause nute burn because the plant is having to take in much higher water/ nute levels just to stop itself from drying out
i couldnt say for sure as im still pretty much a newb but get better ventilation to cool it down in there and ease up on the nutes see is that would fix problem
