Serious Seeds...Kali Mist

I know there have been alot of talk about Fem seeds and why some breeders don't offer them. I have also read that some growers won't consider them because they want Fem only seeds. I just wanted to let those "skeptics" know that I popped 3 Kali Mist seeds on Nov 30th and as of this week, all showed that they are female.

That makes 9 Serious Seeds that I have germed and I have had 8 females. 3 Kali's...3 White Russian...3 AK47 (the only male I have gotten). I understand the luck involved but I have always believed the better the breeder, the better chance at getting females.

When I first started growing using bagseed, I got about 35-40% females. As I have got more experience, I have got better and better genetics and my female rates have gone up. This is no scientific test just my observations over the last couple of years.

The point I am making is for those that want Serious Seed strains but don't want the hassle of weeding out males, don't sweat it. Their strains along with Paradise Seeds have really been over whelmingly female. These top quality strains are worth the extra money and effort to grow. Give'em a shot and I think you will be impressed with the ratio of Females, IMHO! :weed:

How's your Kali Mist going?
It is absolutely phenomenal. I have 1 at 4 weeks flower and the 2 at 3 weeks flower and they are really "text" book plants. I started them in Flower when they were 11 inches. Four weeks later and they are now at 46 inches. The buds are already the size of my thumb and the tich's are really starting to form. You can see the resin with your naked eye.

For anyone growing Kali, make sure and give them plenty of P & K. They just suck it up as fast as you can give it to'em. I have started supplementing with PK 13/14 and they have reacted beautifully. However, I am about out and have ordered AN Hammerhead which is supposed to be as good or better.

I have never posted pics but I plan to when these beautys get ripe. I want everyone to see when great genetics and inexperienced growing meet. If I can grow beautiful plants...ANYONE can. Stay tuned.

Hey Rockytop..Is that KM leggy, and tough to grow? I'm growing bubblegum right now, 'cause it's supposed to be easy. I've heard that KM buzz is terrific. I'd like something like that next .Best of luck to you!!;-)

It does stretch quite a bit but it is still very uniform. I guess you could call it "leggy" but it's a very pretty plant. It is not hard to grow at all. It really sucks up the PK but other than that, it is a dream.

If you are growing Serious Seeds Bubblegum then you know what phenomenal genetics they have. I highly reccomend it and I promise, if you ever grow it, you won't ever be without it. One of the few strains that lives up to it's hype.

I am still a lil nervous about pics but this stuff is looking so pretty, I am going to have to post a few. I am taking them at different stages and I will post them all when I chop. As soon as time allows, I am planning on doing a smoke report along with pics.

I think you will be fine. I also flowered mine in 3 gallon buckets and they were very nice. As they reached the 6th-7th week, I noticed the need for water went up more so than my other strains. All Serious Seeds produce the largest root ball that any other strain I have grown. It is simply unreal how those things grow roots.

I do have some pics of my WR somewhere on my HD. I will try to find them as soon as I have the time. Yours look very nice by the way. I believe you will be just fine with that container.
