Separating males and females

Hello all! This is my first time growing, and i want to polenate so that i can make my own strain. I just found out that i have 2 males and 1 female but i dont know how far to apart the male and female plants should be. DO they need to be a particular distance.

Theyre looking beautiful. thanks for the help

If you want to make your own strain, and it be good, it's not as simple as just crossing a male with a female and all the seeds will kick ass. There will be a hell of a lot of genetic variation between the offspring, concerning things like yield, taste and potency.
If you do it, you'd want to grow about 100 of them, then cross the best male with the best female, and keep doing that until every plant you grow turns out the same, then you have a stabilized strain.
I'm not sure what you mean by your question, what are you trying to achieve by keeping the plants apart? If you want them to pollinate then what's wrong with having them next to each other?

No distance is safe if you want a guarantee of completely seedless bud. Pollen from the male travels in the air and on your clothes, etc.

If you want to capture the pollen from the male then flower it out in another room far far away, don't put a fan on it, and don't visit it before you visit the ladies.

If you just want to keep the genetics in case of an emergency by growing a bunch of seeds, you can capture the pollen and selectively breed your ladies. There are threads on this if you search, but it's basically a matter of collecting some pollen on a q-tip or the like and deliberately and carefully pollinating a couple of small lower buds.

Sorry, move the males from the female.

If you plan on breeding out a strain, be careful to make good records and do good research. It's complicated because you can't tell whether a male has optimal traits until you grow out and finish its female offspring months and months later. Then factor in what Bob said above about the number of plants you need to go through to get the individual with the traits you want.
