Sep. 7th... the aftermath

So I had a surgical procedure yesterday and I'm ashamed to admit that it kept me from attending. So, I spent pretty much all day recovering/resting and I'm just emerging from the time fog that is the pain killers I was prescribed....but any way what happened with the votes. I've been looking around and can't seem to find any news on them other than the Rally/Protest.
THANKS to EVERYONE that contributed....:clap::peace:

That explains it, this was just an introduction then I assume. Stump do you know when these start to go to vote, all on the same day? Sorry, I'm a little rusty on the government class.

Yeah, the house didn't vote on it yet. I'm still waiting on a response from my Senator to see if they voted or just sat around with their thumbs up their asses too. As for the House, my Reps secretary said they will vote towards the end of the month. In the mean time, more people are going to be harrased by the police for things that could have been settled yesterday.

As a side note, anyone know where I can sign the petition to recall Bill Schutte?

I can't wait for the Recall Schuette petition to become available. I need to know what I have to do to take them around my town and collect signatures and have them count.

I've never done anything like that before but I am definitely beating the streets of this town and will also be helping a friend do the next town over.

Where do I sign up, besides MMMA.....

I don't feel government should be involved in healthcare to the invasive degree
some in the government want. This was not a vote in favor of marshall law being declaired on certain citizens
of Michigan, nor was it an ok for law enforcement to use as a tool in the war on drugs.
For christ sakes who ever even heard of fake id cards except the ones LE made!
Count me in. Inspired political motivation comes from the strangest places, ironic if it leads to this jackass
being tossed out.

They don't come and count peoples prescription narcotics, why should they come and count my plants? I agree completely with you Probo. They don't shut down the bars or liquor store when a fake idea was used there or when alcohol is bought for a minor. I think that we're all getting fed up with it. I know I am for one, when I read all of the "raid'n bust'em and jail'em" stories. We all know it's bullshit and it's getting real tired. When the people go as far as to pass a voter initiative and then the law is shit all over by cross section of LEO, prosecutors, and our wonderful AG. RECALL!!!! Let's get those signatures!!!!

but they used to do all of that stuff and more ^^^^
in a few years all this will pass and we will have won the war on pot.
have patience but not too many patients

Soon as that petitions gets posted I am going to print a boatload of copies and hit the streets. I haven't canvassed in years, but I was pretty damn good and it's like riding a bike. If everyone here would take one day to go door to door and talk to the people, we'd have the 800,000 votes to give the people the power to send this assclown to the unemployment line (Which thanks to his buddy Rick Snyder will be 6 weeks shorter than every other state. :) )

I think we need 800,000 signatures to get it put on a ballot for people to vote to recall him, am I not correct?

If they pass this series of bills will it affect CPL's? I don't want to lose mine.

I'll let you know when I see any recall locations when I see them.
