Husband and I just got a Federal Tax ID number - is there anything else we need in order to sell our extra medicine to dispensaries here in CO?

Thanks in advance. :joint:

ive heard talk here in washington about people selling extras but it is too much of a risk u hand over your address and records and say i have a grow op rob me? grow what u need and leave it dont push the button until they make it free for everyone

Just read your other posts talking about only MMC centers being allowed to sell to other MMC - husband and I are caregivers so looks like that tax ID is useless.

Thanks for all of your helpful answers!
If you join the despensary... they can buy from you...Stores must grow 70% of the product themselves 30% out of house

Not sure where you get that info from but an MMC has to grow 70% and the other 30% can be obtained only from another MMC. It is expressly prohibited for an MMC to buy/get meds from a patient/caregiver.

:wall:This is turning into a joke. A year ago you could get rid of your extra meds w/o being a criminal. All these new rules and regulations are just giving this "police state" more ammo to come after patients with. If you are fllowering three healthy plants, it is next to impossible to harverst less then two ounces. So are you supposed to throw away anything over your two ounces, including the time, money and vigilance to produce great medicine. All I ask is that those that impose these laws on coloradans to do some research on what it takes to get medicine from seed/clone to a usable form.:wall:

Flower 3 but stagger them so the all don't finish at once ?

It's better than the option you have in Kansas... Flower one, go to jail.

But, yeah it sucks.

This is absolutely incorrect. MMC's will absolutely not buy nugs from a patient, period.

However, I know that my caregiver is telling me that some places are still buying caregiver meds, which is not compliant. As I understand, that 30% can be purchased from other MMC's, but not patients or caregivers.

So, it looks like while against the rules, there is still caregiver stuff getting into crappy, non-compliant mmc's.

I even see places advertising "Doctor on Site" as well as open past 7pm in the local rag.

They don't care or don't know I guess.

If they are still buying caregiver/patient meds, they could lose their license or potential to get one.

u just gotta know people..the other day i walked up in this one club and one of my high school buddy's works there and i use to hook him up so what goes around comes around..he said when i harvest just bring it in and they rate the weed from 1-5 stars 1star is a gram for 10 bucks and 5stars is a gram for 25 bucks..so u bring in your weed u wanna sell, u guys smoke some to see how it is then send a sample to the lab for testing and when the results come back they rate ur harvest 1-5 stars and u guys work out a price..im from cali tho but i bet in CO it pretty much works the same..maybe not a 1-5star rating

We have our edible card for a plant increase of 33 plants each so I'm not worried about that - we were lucky to sign a contract with a dispensary so they will buy are bud... everything worked out. Give thanks!!

Thanks for all your answers :-)

Hold on a second.

Are you claiming to have signed a contract with a Medical Marijuana Center to grow for them? Do you understand that there are no longer 'dispensaries', they are MMC's. Are you sure you signed with a legit mmc? Care to disclose which one? I think there are a lot of growers who would be interested in what you're claiming. Are you operating as an alternate grow location for an mmc? When did you sign the contract?

This is really interesting.

lol like i said u just gotta know people
I know lots of people. That does not change the law.

If you are talking about under the table black market sales, that is one thing. I was talking about legitimate LEGAL sales which was the topic of this thread.

Do I have the opportunity to buy meds from patients and caregivers? Of course

Do I want to risk my entire business and investment on buying 6oz from an illegal source? No way in hell.

Not sure what they did for you, but in order to legally grow for a dispensary you had to have the agreement completed by 8/1 and the dispensary had to submit an Optional Premise Cultivation License [$1200 app fee]. Be careful, I don't believe your transactions will be as legal as you think they are. Would hate to see you get in trouble thinking that you are legally selling.
