Selling legally

I live in Oregon and marijuana is now legal. How would a person go about selling to the shops? I grow organic and live in the country with no neighbors and several acres of land... I could set up some nice green houses... any one know how I could go about this?

Maybe stupid advice but the easiest way is to go to the store to the warden and ask about this.

They're the ones you should be talking to. Especially if you're confident in your end product and will match the best quality they have at the least.

Guess I will hit the stores and see what I can get done, so glad our state made recreational legal. Got some very good kush that they may be interested in... I have heard to sit on it until June or July since the supply will be lower.

I'd just go talk to them. I think there is going to be some level of commercial regulation and licensing for those sort of rec sales, but it's been a while since I read up on it. From the estimates in the Oregonian though, I think the state is going to be super-satuated with weed. Past years medical harvests have been in estimated at 400,000 pounds, they think it could hit 750,000 pounds this year.

Unless you are a OMMP registered grower, you can't legally sell it right now to dispensaries. For recreational, the new rules go into effect January 1, 2016. They require an application for a rec license, either for growing, extracting, retail, or edibles.
