Selective Bagseed

Hey Everyone. This is my second grow. I've vegged for 8 weeks under 2 fluorescent shop lights, adding 2 more at 6 weeks. Well I switched to 12/12 a week ago today, and all 6 have shown sex.... females! Last grow I vegged for 6 weeks and it took over 2 weeks to show sex. What gives? Am I just 1 lucky S.O.B or has being selective about seeds rewarded me? I 'm just amazed that all the stress they have been through, and I still got a 100% female succsess rate? I was always expecting at least 1 male. Any I else get so lucky?

Just lucky I guess whenever I used bagseed before I always get a male, the only time they were all female was some bagseed of some bomb that was self pollinated and I got hermies.

Don't take the success so personally, you just balanced the scales for some "poor schmuck" who got 10 males from 10 seeds. Shit happens!

A "50-50 Chance" doesn't mean 5 out of 10 - it's more like 500 out of 1,000. It's all about "averages and probability".

Wait till you have a real track record to talk about, you'll see what I mean.

As far as telling so early, I had mine on a pretty inconsistent and inadequate light cycle for a few weeks while they were younger, and one of my three plants developed the male grape bunch while only a few weeks old and still pretty small. I think my weird light cycle was the reason for it. The other two didn't grow balls, so I believe they're females. I'll be upset if I put them on 12/12 and they're dudes.. :P

Sorry guys, don't mean to blow my own horn. I was just curious If being "selective" had any thing to do with it. Also, is it because I vegged for 8 weeks and allowed them to mature that they showed so fast? Also, I was reading an article the other day that said dish water, yes dish water, is a homemade fert.? lol I'll try and find a link.

also be careful not to count chicks b4 they hatch having alot of light stress tends to develope hermies outta females
