SEEMOREBUDS grow 8 ounces of weed for under 100

Alright so im just wondering if anyone has ever used this book to grow before. i have a few questions that hopefully can be answered. like about the lights. i know 6500k are recommended for the veggie stage but in the book it looks like the guy uses just 2700k the entire time. this kinda makes sense to me since in the book the plant is only in vegatative stage for a little more than 2 weeks, so basically my question is do i really need to go out and buy a few 6500k for just 2 weeks of vegging or just stick with 2700k the entire time. thanks much help is appreciated

You can use the 27k for the entire grow. You just need way more light than using the 55k and up. Its really the lumens that matter when growing.

yea i am following the seemorebuds books also. this book is great!

just follow as he says and you wont go wrong i promise!

more light just mean a higher yield

alright thanks guys i appreciate the help and yea the book is amazing. its incredible to see how simple seemore can make it seem. but right now i have a 54 watt t5 tube 6500k and then 4 23 watt 2700k cfls. and the seed was planted on monday morning and sprouted yesterday. is it just me or does that seem to be a little too quick of a sprout.

With the lights, you can use 2700k the whole way, but it is better to have a mixed spectrum. 3:1 blue:red for veg and red:blue for flower. Also pay attn to lumens. You want a minimum of 3000 lumens per sq ft.

Depending on what strain, It takes three days to germinate and two days to sprout out the soil. Maybe longer if conditions aren't met.
