SEEDSMAN versus SEED CITY .

If you look for fair and honest reviews about online businesses, one cannot rely on places like Trustpilot or Seedfinder for honest opinions ,especially Seedfinder which seems totally corrupt and absolutely unreliable .I have had serious arguments with the owner of this site .
Recently I ordered seeds from 2 well known seed sellers : Seedsman and Seed City .
The value and the seeds of both orders are about the same .
I made my first order with Seedsman about 2 weeks ago and Seed City 1 week ago .
My first impression is about the freebies.
I took all the seeds offered by Seed City ,because they really offer great strains and you can choose the ones you like .
The small amount of freebies offered by Seedsman did NOT interest me .I refused it all , and took none ...
Since about 2 weeks I ordered from Seedsman ,my shipment has not been sent yet.
According to the tracking number It has not even left the place ...When contacted Seedsman replied that there was a strike going on and that it will be sent asap ...
Now I will keep writting about the evolution and result of my shopping experiences,about the seeds quality and the plants they produce so we all can judge about the good or the bad of both Seedsman and Seed City .

I ordered a few varieties from Seedsman one time, a few years ago. Seeds arrived in Midwest US after 3 or 4 weeks. 75% germination rate. Flower turned out okay, not bad.

I've never ordered from Seed City.

I'm interested to see how it works out for you.

On Seedsman site you can have a live chat with a friendly and polite person named Ruth .I asked why is it taking so long for my tracking code to show something .The problem was that they gave me a wrong tracking code .She fixed it and withing an hour I got a new tracking number .It shows that the shipment has left GB and its on its way to destination .I am happy about it .
In tropical countries you can grow outdoor all year round and have several harvests .I only grow once a year and the best time for planting is now in order to harvest by the end of the rainy season which is also end of the year when the weather is fresh and cool .That is when I get magnificent plants with big and hard buds full of resin .The yielding is then exceptional .
Past this period because of the constant heat, its no worth planting .You get fluffy buds without much power ... just good enough to smoke...but nothing special .

I will grow mostly wedding cake from feno finder and runtz muffin from Barney's with a few other extra strains ...growing here is to me very rewarding , I do all organic with the best ground that can be , WITH a daily average sun of about 8 hours and so powerful that the flowering period is much shorter than in northern climates ...Growing indica outdoor here unless you know some very simple tricks is not possible you'll get only mini mini plants ...

Seedsman is the worst overseas bank at this point, just terrible customer service as well. I used Seed City a few times about a decade ago and got my seeds no problem, but over the years I've used Attitude the most out of those UK banks.

I hope you are wrong but therefore I made a second order... in case you 're right !

My Seedsman mail has arrived today ,I read many reviews saying that Seedsman is slow to send shipments .My seeds took only about 2 weeks to come from the UK to me in Cambodia eventhough there are strikes going on ... So far every thing's going fine .
I got 5 wedding cake seeds 3 runtz muffin, 3 gelato og , and 3 Peyote Zkittlez . I will start germinate all together ounce I receive my second shipment from Seed city ,normally in about a week from now...

I don't usually like sativa ,actually I have never liked weed .I am a charrassi a hasch smoker ,I spent a big part of my life around the Himalaya and Hindu Kush from Nepal to Afghanistan , smoking chillums .
At the time of Indira Ghandi, India in the early seventies was like a dream... such a good time that was .
Always going first to the mountains to get nice stuff and then I would spend my time far down south in Goa smoking and partying . I still love trance .
Afghani always cultivate ganja ,in India and Nepal they mostly and usually get resin from plants growing wild
The quality of the resin and the variety of tastes in Afghanistan is impressive . At that time many European hippies with their camping cars were going to India through this route crossing the Khyber pass . In the tribal areas people are free to grow and sell any amount of hash they want (opium as well) ,it is a law and the pakistani and Afghan government cannot interfere .This was a part of Afghanistan that agreed to become part of Pakistan at its creation only if the agreement is accepted and respected.I was often visiting Pathan people .But I did never spend much time there .You never see a woman around ... muslim countries can be so boring ...
I prefered India .I used to love this country...
but not now any more...things change , we live in a world that is changing fast ...Also Trump's good friend ,a fascist a mass killer is running the country
Narendra MODI in India crazy Bolsonaro friend from Brazil ,Viktor Orban from Hungaria .This is like mafia they all are friends and they have one boss : Putin !

Now getting aged I can't roam around like before...and smoke good old Malana cream anymore or Mazar i Sharif hash .:
I became a little sedentary and I adapted to weed and to its cultivation ,such a resilient and easy plant to grow so lovely...
Now there are incredible strains with wonderful aroma strong enough to please me .I was amazed by the taste of some cindy99 I grew a few yar ago when I smoked it ,it was like nice indian charass .Some like wedding cake or even strawberry cough or GSC remind of nice tasting haschich !

Yeah seedsman is legit, they have sent me every order I've placed but I only order from them if there is a strain they have that I cannot find anywhere else. My last order from them was last month for some purple queen from royal queen seeds, took about 3 weeks to get my order.

Too many great seedbanks here stateside to really even bother with overseas banks anymore. Also I dont know if it's the best idea to be ordering seeds from a place for the freebies alone. I've gotten great freebies and junk ones. You cannot base the quality of the plants grown based on where you got the seeds from unless the seeds you got from them are there own brand and even then their are variables in your control that can make or break the experience. Most seedbanks are just middle men for other banks these days.

I only have experience with Seedsman, Im currently running their Diet Durban and Peyote Gorilla. I had run and harvested their Lemon Auto.

Got my seeds within a week of ordering on the west coast, Germ rate was about 80%. I will say the Peyote Gorilla pheno's are really all over the place, not a bad thing but interesting none the less.

Got some nice freebies and really can complain, would I order again... Sure.

The Lemon auto is consistent and quality smoke (smoking some right now)

The PG seems quite nice and will have to report back on the smoke, Same with the Diet Durban though a branch did break off a week back the the early smoke is actually quite nice.

I have got my beans from Seedsman since long ago but I am still waiting for Seed city seeds ,and I see nothing coming eventhough I paid for it since about 25 days ago ...THIS IS WHY web sites like Truspilot and especially Seedfinder are absolutely UNRELIABLE .Most of their reviews are fake

True its all about the genetics of the the strain. Then you also have different grower experience levels that come into play.

This isnt why. Just because YOU didnt get your shipment yet or even at all doesnt mean the reviews are fake ir theyre not legit. They did send the seeds. They cant control what happens in the postal process. I've used seed city within the last year and got my order no problem...as have many others. I had a problem with my order and got prompt customer service. My experience was as good as Attitude which I'd used for the last decade

No no no .I did not say this just because I did not get my shipment .I have been reading reviews for years . Seedfinder is absolutely corrupt without no doubt .Trustpilot seems to be more fair but the people who post the reviews are the ones who abuse .Please keep in mind that this post is about judging seed banks not me .Do not put words I did not say in my mouth and start by saying just because you did or did not ....that is not the point . Please avoid arrogant and provocative words and read correctly before jumping on me .If you use your brain and read reviews about seed city and seedsman on Seedfinder you will realise what I mean .Read also Trustpilot reviews ...and think... do not just because me ....

Now about 8weeks, most of them are coming in next week. Have already pulled and hung 3 up. And thanks

So now I am germinating my 14 seeds from Seedsman .I can't wait for seed city .If their parcel arrives too late ,I won't be able to plant their seeds .I must respect a time schedule imposed by mother Nature .Gelato and peyote skittles from seedsman seeds are obviously fresh ,they all sprouted fast .The runtz muffin seeds are small and withish they are very slowly germinating ...the 5 wedding cake are not doing well ,OLD SEEDS, only one germinated ...I dripped the other 4 in water with traces of magnesium and humic acid with the hope that it will help ...let,s see ... If this does not work I will never buy seeds from Pheno Finder again .

I just got my shipment from Seed City and will start it today ,for the moment I am extremely annoyed NONE of my wedding cake seeds from Pheno Finder made it .THIS is my main smoke and I am so upset . These guys from Amsterdam cheat a lot .A couple of years ago I had the same problem with one called Devil's harvest seeds also from Amsterdam .They sent me new seeds only after realising that I was seriously damaging their reputation .
