Seeds in Water

If i leave seeds in water, will they germinate, and will the tap root come out?

yes keep em warm and in the dark

Yes. I germinated my first beans that I bought that way and I got 100% (17/17)

Yes sir I use throw mine in soil wait and wait then boom week or so later . Took my last beans soaked 12 hours throwed in soil 2days later she was up and thriving

yea i used to do the papertowel method but its too easy to have it dry out if your waiting for sprouts. so now i just soak in a cup of water overnight 12-20 hours then just plant them in moist soil taproots or not. somtimes they will already be split. but that soak will be enough to "wake them up". and like wayno said keep em warm.
