seeds but no polen?

Has anyone experienced a room of plants seeding out every so slightly even though you know you don't have any herm or males in the group? I have been at this for 7 years and for the first 6 used only "bag seeds" so I know hermies and males pretty well as those genetics are often hermie and flawed to beat hell. When I started using some Amsterdam genetics I bought on-line I started findng a few seeds, I clean my buds to have as little leaf as humanly possible so I'm inspectng for pollen sacs at that time as well and found squat. Just wondering if anyone else had this. r1tony: go ahead man, do your worst with the hate.

Unless you had a male plant in your room in the last year that blew pollen all over the place, you have a hermie in there. It only takes one nanner to make a lot of pollen....

Yes, I have had a few seeds in buds where I never saw any pollen sacks. Like two or three off of an entire plant.
Unlike humans, it don't take two to tango so I have to assume it did it by itself.

I have grown out herm seed. Out of 10 seeds 5 sprouted, all female.
Out of the five I got two runts, two regular size and one monster.

Are they feminized seed? if they are this will happen from time to time. the seed you get may be all female.if its a good strain then keep the seed. they make a product called dutch master gold range reverse flower spray. mix with a drop or two of dish soap and spray it on when you switch to flower then again ten days later. it will reverse your plants back to female and stop this from happening. only spray it the two times because it takes a while to leach out of the plants.

I had it happen on a couple plants last crop. I let three of my pineapple express go for an extra few weeks and had a few premature seeds and maybe about 3 fully formed seeds. Depending on how long you let them go it may be the reason.

Thanks all, there was one fan inretrospect that I did not bleach clean last rotation....that would have to be some seriously viable residual pollen but I guess.

Your welcome, its usually somethen simple! Better get to cleaning! Heh heh heh

Beagle made a good point & I agree, you could be unwittiling contaminating the grow room yourself by whatever's on your clothes!! Cleaning that fan would be a good start though . Good luck & hope ya get it straightened out! :-)

Do you have an intake that gets air from outside? All it takes is one male within a few miles to nail your little girl. I'm sure the smoke will not be hindered at all however.

I've done my due dilligence: cleaned everything like an OR and did light tests and actually started to filter my intake-that one hadn't occured to me but I'm in an area that might contain some outdoor plants somebody isn't tending to lendng another possible pollen source. It's got to fx it, right? immaculate....should I keep the seeds and see if some Jesus buds pop up out of it? a Jesus of cannabis I can handle but if it grows up to be a r1tony......

Man are you sure you didn't just get a nanner in the middle of a bud? It happens.. The whole plant doesn't always break out in ballsacks.. I'd be saving them seeds though, they might be killer!!

I seem to be having the same issue with one of my plants im probably at least 6 weeks into flowering and have some staggered plants a few weeks behind... my question is will this plant effect all my other flowering plants?

i dont think it will unless the pollen sack is hanging if its just pushing out of a pod and not dropping i wouldn't be concerned. the ones that hang down and get the typical male pods are junk. if it is mixed inside the bud it is normal its the plants way of trying to reproduce. you may get a female seed. to the best of my knowledge anyway.

If you have a hermd plant mixed in with your females it will pollinate all of them. To what extreme would depend on how many male flowers open up and spread pollen but there is enough pollen in just one male flower to make a lot of seeds.
