i will be getting 2 clones in about a week from a friend.. i will be growing with 4 23watt cfl's in a 2'x2'x3'tall space and i was just wondering would the amount of light in the room affect the quality of the seeds?.. because the past plants that i have veged in this box have been healthy plants.. but it will be my first time flowering indoor because i start from seed outdoor every year and i ran out of seeds so i will be getting 2 clones from a friend, the strain is unknown but i will be getting 1 male and 2 female clones.. they are already rooted and in small cups but i want good seed and i didn't really want to buy a hps because i only veg clones to 6 inches in there then they go outside i was hopeing that it was just genetics that determined the seed quality but i may be wrong.. can someone please help... thanks...

o and also these plants don't have to be of very good smokeing quality i'm just growing them for seed and then using the left over bud to make hash or something... and aprox how many seeds would i beable to get from a bushy plant that's about a 1ft 8inches tall that's fully polinated???

as long as you arent actually trying to yield nugs, then you should be fine using those lights, i would prefer a HPS or at least a metal halide, but as long as you have substantial light to keep them green and healthy and NEW growth is constnatly forming on top you should be fine.....pollinating and seeding dosent require a LOT of lumens, just enough light for them to stay healthy......try mixing some superthrive and sugar daddy in a spray bottle for foliar feeding once a week, those two nutes really help with healthy seed and pollen development......hope i helped
