Leave them, I've killed one or two when I started out by getting impatient. If it has been above soil for more than 5 days and is still stuck inside the casing, then you might try removing very carefully.

possible to gently tease off, give the leaves a little time to work. it's worrisome when both refuse to release

good news all seedlings all shed there shells and are healthy
awesome man. usually best to let nature take it's course. think about it like this; an indoor environment is a lot less 'windy' etc. than the good ol' outdoors, so sometimes it may take a bit for your seedlings to get that shell off.

i actually think forcing em' to shed their shell on their own can make a stronger/healther seedling. any thoughts on this?

my little plantito is still battling her seed casing as well haha, day 3 now.

I've done minor surgery before with razor blades and scalpels. You need to be very sure of what you're doing though. Each time they turned out ok, but I'm pretty sure they probably would have anyway.

i've heard of people lightly misting seedlings with water to help knock the seed casing off or even just loosen it up a bit.

i had to lightly mist my white kush and all i did was gently pull of the shell and casing with my fingers. now its stronger than ever and very green
