Seedlings to vegetative; timing, light and when to transplant

First time grower. Autoflowering skunk seed purchased from reputable seed bank. Classified as outdoors and easy to grow for a first time grower. Currently seeds are in shallow seedling containers and appear to be doing well. The one problem so far was the light was too far away and they "stretched" - hence the sticks holding them up currently.

Light: they are currently under a recommended light in my shed on a mix of 18/6 and 24/0 light. I take them outside and give them sunlight and wind as often as I can.

Question #1: when do these seedlings enter the vegetative stage?

Question #2: when they enter vegetative stage, I want to ideally put them into individual 3 gallon containers. However, I do not have the light sources in my shed to create sufficient light for 10 separate containers. Should I plant 2 per container and then cull those that are male or don't make it? Or should I move the seedlings into another slightly larger container so I can use the light I have throughout the vegetative stage and then transplant the females into final 3 gallon containers once vegetative stage is in process.

I want to move them outside ASAP but not too early. This particular autoflowering seed flowers in 6 weeks so if I get them outside by Aug 1, I'm good to go (even if it's 8 weeks, I'm OK in southern Canada). I just don't know what the best plan is to transition from current attached picture stage to individual 3 gallon containers, when to move them outside, and how much light to give and when. I've heard autoflowering is OK to go out early given they auto-flower... so even 12/12 early is OK as they will flower when supposed to.....

Any thoughts/advice would be much appreciated folks.

Thanks.
