When do u folks think I should start my seedling indoors for a South Eastern US garden?

Lat Nov., yesterday, or now. Got indoor lighting?

I figure that the growing period around here starts around beginning of april.

Depends on how big you want them to get. The earlier you plant them the bigger they will get. The sun stays strong and long for a while before triggering flowering. When do you want to harvest?

I'm actually going to try and do 2 harvests.

What are you growing? I'm starting onions inside this month.

Tomatoes, Peppers, cucumbers, pumpkins, and peas.
