THAT SOIL IS DRY! It looks like you started those seeds in something. I'm not sure what it is. But if it's one of those pucks that expand when soaked in water I haven't heard good things about them.

To be honest I don't like solo cups either. Young like that you don't want to confine the roots. They can fill that cup in a week. Personally I go from flats seedlings or cutting to 1 gallon pots. Then to 5 gallons. More roots the better the plant.

Yea I actually just took a look at the roots and noticed it started to circle. I'm thinks my of transplanting to 1 gallon tommrow.
So what do you think the problem with the tips could be from underwatering ?

Oh and it's a rapid rooter
yeah with the mesh? I'd ask around but like I said I haven't heard a good thing about them. My guess it's a combo thing. Tight roots - to long between watering - high temps. Water ASAP transplant ASAP make sure temps stay below 80 76/78 is ideal. What about circulation and ventilation. If it's not getting enough fresh air it chokes the plant and makes it even harder on the plant to combat the other issues.

Buy marijuana growers insiders guide. By Mel frank. It's an easy read and has everything in there that you need. They're available used for under 10 bucks when I bought mine. If you're just starting its well worth it. Here's a secret. Don't believe all of what you read on here. Some people have no idea! Trust books and science over some silly thread online. The truth is many people make it harder than it needs to be.

Those are not peat pucks it is a rapid rooter and there is no mesh around it. I've been using them for over 10 years with excellent results.
