Seedling soil and depressing seedlings

One of my seedling I believe is hot soil also but I have just left it alone my other three are doing fine with the soil mix. Again Patience ugggg!!!! Mine are also outdoors.

Basically.... They died. Got home and they were yellow and shriveled up. Is it a better idea to use just standard compost instead of some fancy "feeds for 4 weeks" stuff?

Yea definitely. Thats why growers frown upon miracle grow. I has time released nutes, that as you now see, is too hot and can kill delicate seedlings. They dont need any nutes at all for the first couple weeks. Alot of people, including myself, use FFOF. Seems to be working fine for me so far. I'll pour one out for your fallen girls. Okay everyone, after visiting a horticulture shop and getting advice and equipment it is all going really well. I have done 2/3 terra seed mix to 1/3 cocogreen and they are thriving and looking really healthy. I also purchased a PH testing kit and my water was around 7.5, so I have some PH Down and got my water to around 6.0. I have made sure not to over water and to keep under just a 50w CFL for propagation. I will keep everyone updated.
