Seedling roots growing up and out the top of the Rapid Rooter plugs???

Hey, I just started about 35 seeds in one of those rapid rooter germination kits. I took the plugs out and dipped them in warm distiller water with a small amount of Rapid Start root enhancer in it. I genteelly squeezed the excess water out of them and put them back. I then plated 35 seeds I got of a local long time grower I just met. I then put a humidity dome on it and put it in a warm place. This was 2 days ago and I came home from being away the last day and about 20 had sprouted and are a good inch tall and the rest are getting ready to pop out from the plug( I covered the precut holes with a little piece of the plug )

I noticed that there are white roots coming out next to a couple of the seedlings and I don't know what o do ? Do I leave it or cut the root now? These seeds like exploded compared to my first grow! I used a burpee kit last time and it sucked. I just don't know what to do about the roots. Any help would be appreciated... Thanks

If you have room in your pot, you can sprinkle some soil on top, and they will get covered up, and the stem should kick out a few roots.;-)

If you cut the taproots, they'll probably die. In the future, make sure you plant the seeds point side down, or if germinating using the paper towel method, don't let the taproots get too long before putting in cubes.

I didn't germinate them first, I planted directly into the rapid rooter plugs pointy side down. It only happened to 2 out of about 30 but I've never seen anything like that before.
