seedling mats/heating pads users.. qwik question

just went out to stores to get a heating pad to use a a seedling mat.. just wondering how u all use them?? u set the plastic tray on the heating pad with a dome on it? or do u lay the heating pad over hte top of the dome? just trying to save these seeds and get them to sprout... any input will help.. thanks yall

ditch the dome for seedlings..especially if its a 7'' dome..put the mat somewhere fairly cold like 60-70 degrees..then put ur starter pots or wutever in a tray over the heat mat..plant seeds ...spray water..and wrap in saranwrap. i find this helps create humitity far superior of the dome..when used in conjunction with the matt
