Seedling: Light Green Leaves and Possibly Slow Growth

I have a Lowryder 2 seedling that sprouted about 11 days ago. It's in coco coir and I've been watering it about every 3 days or until the first couple inches of coir dry out. 18/6 light schedule, pH around 6. No nutrients. About 185 watts of mixed 6500k and 2700k CFLs. I'm worried that it's not growing as fast as it should and that it's color isn't normal. Is there a problem, and what do you think it might be?

It sprouted kinda sideways and this is right after it turned itself upright.

This is day 8.

This is day 11.

achaser87, what would be considered "dried out"? It's still moist about 2 inches down by the time I water.
Let me get some things straight.
1) You have 1 or 2 plants? Either way IMO you have too much light for now. Not sure what wattage bulbs your using, but i start with 1 23w first week, and add another for the second week. Depending on the strain if its bushy i may add more after that.
2) What size of pot is that seedling in? Looks WAY too big for that plant. I personally keep a seedling in a 18oz solo cup for 14 days and transplant without problems.
3) Are you handwatering? If so after the roots have established, you start watering everyday or everyother day. Personally i water everyday, and my girl is 30 days in veg from seed and in a 3.75gal pot.
4) Nutes: You need to to add nutes. Veg nutes, and Cal/Mg+. If you have the money, a root booster would be helpful aswell.

Hope this helps, good luck

1. One plant.
2. In a one gallon pot, I was told transplanting autoflowers will stunt them.
3. I am handwatering.
4. Will do.

I've removed some of the lights and I watered until runoff last night. It doesn't seem any better this morning. I'll take your advice and feed it. Thank you achaser87 and *BUDS.

Oh I see. I am not the person to ask about autoflower strains. But that 1 gal should be fine. And it wont look better just over night, wait for new growth after a feeding. If i were you id mix a 1L nute batch everyday with LIGHT feedings. Good luck, thanks for the rep :weed:

Yesterday right after watering with 1/4 strength nutes including some root booster.

Today. Definitely some new growth and looking a bit more perky to me. How often do you think I should feed it at this point?

Wow, looking a lot better today. It looks like there's color coming back into the second set of leaves too. Thanks everyone.
