Why are my seedlings getting so skinny in the middle

how old are they and what light you usuing over them ?? looks like they are streching so maybe your light is higher than what it should be. what strains are they? try and give as much info about your set up as poss to get the best solutions. peace

You gotta replant those deeper so they're not so stretched. Get a lot more light. And get that light closer to the plants. They're stretching up trying to reach for light. ou gotta have a lot more than 28 watts of light for 3 plants. Look into something like this http://www.buylighting.com/105-Watt-Compact-Fluorescent-5000K-Full-Spectrum-p/sp105-50-med.htm. Nice way to start on a budget

you going to need alot more lights than that if you are intending on growing all them seedlings you should be looking at least 400w hps mh to get the best out of them i would even go as far as saying 600w for all those you need to get your lighting situation sorted fast or stop and start again

repot them things right up to those little round leaves, get yourself 6500k(daylight)bulbs, keep them 2-4" above seedlings, let a fan gently blow on them, water from below, put them on a warm surface, do not fertilize them....


if you are going hydro.....forget everything I just wrote......

go to your local hardware store and grab as many cool white cfl's as you can afford and get the lights in there quick cool white is the blue spectrum you will need warm white for flowering dude.
