seed stuck to leaf

Oh. thats the rest of the seed's outer shell. The plantlet is shedding its shell if you will. Nothing to be worried about here.

Yung has it, it's the seed casing. Grab it, and pull it off so the leaf under it can help soak the light and grow.....and yes, it's doing more harm than good sitting there. Eventually it will fall off anyway as those little leaves die.

I'm running into a similar if not the same problem at the moment. The thing is, the seed hull came off, it was sitting in the dirt next to the seedling, but there is still alittle brown stuff on the leaves. Enough so that i thought the seed casing was actually still on... Just wondering if it's supposed to be completely green when the seed casing falls off? Or is it too early to be tampering with nature? It sprouted some time between lastnight and this morning

Take a look, lemme know what i'm up against (if it's not just paranoia)
seedling1.jpgseedling2.JPG The seed casing has deffinatly come off, so is that brownish color normal for this stage?

I use 2 toothpicks to pry off stubborn seedcaps. If you don't get it off within 24
hours your seedling will not grow.

I had the same thing happen with two of my plants once I took the casing off the leaves opened up and are looking good now. The ones with the casing on them were growing very slow but have caught up to the other plants now.
