ok, i'm pretty sure i read this somewhere but when you are germinating in soil you want the humidity around 80 the temp to be around ??, and you want no light. but once the first root has sprouted wich usualy happens in 24-48 hours of good conditions they need to have some kind of an ambient light source? corect or no?

Instead of germin in soil, I do the ole wet paper towel in the dark method. Then once it sprouts a little taproot, I put em in one of those expandable peat pellet things till they sprout, then straight into the soil so i don't gotta worry about stressing out my little one's during transplant.

You should germ. between two paper towels (not toilet paper) I put a towel.. place seeds on it cover with 2nd piece and soak.. I use two pie plates (top and bottom)..I keep it very wet and put in cupboard.. in 24 hours to 10 days they should have popped..this way of starting you can see the bigger stronger sprouts and plant those.. I plant 3/8" deep and lightly cover with soil, and water..when they break
soil I just put them in sunlight for a day or two... then into the spa (CFL's).... Luck.:eyesmoke:
