Seed question

In my most recent outdoor grow one of my 4 kens GDP ended up being a male plant. I let the male continue to grow, I then later busted a few of the balls on the female. Haha. Anyway, I ended up getting about 50 seeds out of the plant. Will those seeds be good to try and do a grow with?

Depends if they are mature. No harm in trying them out.

I mean the bud that came from the plant was actually very nice. Just had a few seeds in it. About 10ozs with about 50 seeds. 95% of those seeds are all brown and spotted. Look just like the seeds I ordered. I was just wondering if the seeds I produced would be worth tryin to grow. And if all the seeds are the same or a variety of phenos.

You'll have to grow them out to find out

They will be fine to grow out. Your theory about having different phenos is correct. I dont know how much work went into GDP in trying to stabelize it but if I am not mistaken there are already different pheno types with the original GDP ceed so you can expect even MORE pheno variation in the seed you made but that is not necessarily a bad thing. You will just end up with some plants that lean more towards one or the other parents of GDP, it just depends on how much work went into stabelizing the the strain. The more stable the strain the less variation when you breed it to itself like you did...the less work that is put into stabelizing the strain, the more variation you will see out of that seed. I would not hesitate to plant them but be prepared for variation through out the grow....some plants might be taller or shorter ETC. Hope this helps!

Well it's not gonna hurt I guess. Ill see what I can do with them indoor under 600hps. If it's anything like the bud I got from outside then I'll be very pleased. Hopefully I got some sweet phenos.
