I'm trying to figure out what these "mini seeds" are doing in my buds and what i can do to eliminate the problem, well at least i think its a problem???? (newbie here lol) so the colors vary from a light purple to a deep purple and even brown, they're about 1/16 the size of a average seed (nearly microscopic-my camera can't capture them) the only way I actually noticed them is while making oil (extracting goodies by chopping buds down and slow cooking in vegetable oil) I noticed there was ONE large white seed and a few stems floating on the surface which were barely noticeable because they were trumped by maybe 1000+ mini seed looking things, all other material fell to the bottom of the pan.
A couple factors to note is the strain in question is a bubba kush/bubble gum kush strain from seed, 4 plants harvested out of 7, removed males at 1st sight of male "sacks" about 4-6 days into flower(bananas didn't even have time to turn color or open). 5 weeks veg under CFLs, 8 weeks flower under 1000w HPS.. a few thoughts that went through my mind were: its quite possible 8 weeks was not sufficient flower time for this particular strain...but can that actually create seeds? Can this happen from stress? I was also thinking, possibly before buds form, they may look like mini seeds???? Lol! I'm out on a limb here...somebody please help! And...THANK YOU!
