Im a begginer but on my forth grow... to me I'm still a newbie I only bought seeds on line once and I got them from Attitude seed bank. My question is on the gender type it say regular...not fem or male... so what does that mean?Does that mean its not a high quality strian of plant? Or soes it mean it might be a male or female once flowered? Im confysed and please advise me on my newbie question.

you got it, all regular seeds means is that they can be either male or female seeds, and that they're not feminized, meaning every seed would be a female..
for years and years all there were were regular seeds..

for a beginner [FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]some times feminized seeds are better... in indoor this is because if your dont recognize the male at time and your only want to smoke some pot you can lost all the plants (because the pollination, you can read about this in this forum) in outdoors are a problem if you have a male for months
and need to cut the whole plant in summer...

my advise if you buy regular seeds and dont want make more seeds check the plants careful to detect males at time.

also if you buy feminized seeds select a very reputable breeder (attitude have a lot) to avoid hermys.

good luck!

i could, and do, say the same thing about regular seeds.. fem's are no more likely to hermie then reg's..

Feminized are better by far for most. But you bought regular so plant 4. Odds are 2 will be female. Odds are then that being new you will kill one and, if you're lucky and the creek doesn't rise, that one might make it. It will be fine.

Wow lots a good info thanks everyone! Yes I am growing indoors and I been reading up on growing over a year now. From my reading.... from what I understand I always want to have a female do to them producing vigors buds and a high quality of high not to mention no seeds in the buds. I have always purchased femz. But this time I seen a strain I like but it says regular. So I was a bit iffy on getting them so I wanted to ask what the public of M.J. grow thought. So what your saying is if I have to many girls in my indoor grow tent that they will want to become hermies? I think I might of had one this grow it had what look like a bud cola on the cola area but then it had seeds in the cola too. This plant was only in the third or fourth week of flower. The seed came from a reggie bag I had and one out of four was a male and the rest were females. I'm growing in a 2x2x5 grow lab tent in ocean forest soil using Buddha Bloom for seed in a 5 gallon pot under a small 150 H.P.S lamp. I need to invest in a bigger lamp but so far for the space and funds I've been doing alright. Im sure if I had a bigger lamp I would get a heavier harvest but I'm contempt for now. So if you guys have any commments regarding my post it would be greatfully apreicated thanks again.

if you have seeds in the buds are 3 options.. a male, a hermi (the most common) or one of your neighbors have males....

check your plants sure have a hermi.

if all your buds start to make seeds they dont produce more resin... and the plants lost a lot of power.

not all you plants turn to hermies, dont care about the amount of plants.. some reason to turn into a hermie are:

to much hot.
to much stress (overfert, bugs, overwatering etc)
bad genetics (cheap seeds)

good luck,
