ok im not a newb i have grown for the last 3 years since i found a weed plant by my buddys house where we smoked every day..any ways every year i get my plants nice and big but always have to get rid of them before they flower..kinda sucks but this year im going through the entire process. but here is my problem usually i have tons of seeds that all grow a really long main root. but so far i have a bunch of seeds with a tiny part of the root coming out of the seed and i planted a few of them and its been a few weeks and they still haven't sprouted so i dug them up and the root hasnt grown at all is it in shock or is it rooted or something and i am still germinating the rest and they still havent grown a cm either what could be the problem??

Sounds like expired seeds :-(

How did you germ them? What kind of soil did you put them in. What are the conditions in the room. If they never broke the surface of the soil the light doesn't matter.

germ them in a wet paper towel for about three to four days
until you have a half inch root showing and then put it in you soil
in a day or two your plant will pop out of the soil

keep em green

i put it in regular potting soil. the room is about 70-65 F and the way i germed them by putting them in water in a dark warm spot.. thats the way i always do.
ill try a few in the paper towel and see if its just the seeds

well i got a sprout popping out the dirt now but the seed was almost off of it before it got out the dirt so i knocked it off and the leaves are still merged together..
will they spilt or will my plant just die from not getting any light?? btw is it to early to have lights over the sprout???
