could you plant germed seeds in perlitle? Then later transplant to soil? Just wondering

Why would you want to germ in perlite? Paper towel or cup of water is all u need
Edit: sorry hung over...but u can grow in just perlite yes,but no reason to start seeds in it just to transplant to soil, like other guy said

Not what im asking. they are already germed just have to plant

Im growing the normal way. Just b4 the 1st transplant is it okay for them to be in perlite
