Seed Delivery Dilemma

When your order from Attitude is it delivered, has it EVER come via Registered Mail?

Came home from work and USPS left a "Sorry We Missed You" orange slip saying I have a parcel from "Great Britain"... obviously my order from Attitude. I did order using the guaranteed method (stealth t-shirt). However, not aware that Attitude ships via Registered Mail, even when shipping using their guaranteed method. So, USPS circled the "must be present at time of delivery". Which may or may not be out of the ordinary since my delivery guy often leaves packages when I don't have to sign.

Making me kinda nervous. Although, had I been home I'm assuming my regular postal guy would have just handed it to me parcel and asked me to sign (my regular USPS guy is good people and he takes care of me... tip him GOOD at X-mas). Although, don't know if Feds would jump out of the bushes after signing LoL.

This whole thing leaves me wondering as I haven't seen where anyone gets their Attitude seeds via Registered Mail. I've contacted Attitude, but while I'm waiting for their reply thought I'd ask you all. Damn, would hate to let go $150+ in seeds

What say you??

Sounds like the package just didn't fit in your postbox so they left the card.
Maybe your usual postmon was on vacation?
Did you actually see him the day of delivery?
Be happy it wasn’t left on your doorstep and stolen by the neighbors. (at least this happens where I live)

yeah the only thing ive ever heard of is the seeds get taken well before they ever make it to you..if they did know what it was and it was in fact illegal they would most definately not need to deliver the package to catch you they would already have your address.

In my experience, Attitude does not ship registered mail. the first two letters of the tracking # indicate something about what type of mail it is, for example an LY code on the tracking is non-registered. However, in a few cases because the delivery guy got confused, he left an orange note as if it was registered, which I straightened out when I visited the post office. If you've got such a code tell them at the post office that it isn't registered mail -- also tell them to inform the local carrier that it's is non-registered so he can just leave it in the box.

Also I think you're being overly paranoid. I don't mean that in a judgmental way, just that you should relax :blsmoke:

Rolo - First two letters are "RJ". Yeah, I may be overly paranoid and no offense taken. However, I live on the islands and I know they are ALWAYS concerned about invasive species, etc. However, I also gotta believe that if they detected 10-15 beans they would just confiscate rather then try to burn someone order 10-15 seeds. I'll probably just go to post office and sign for parcel and act surprised that "I" got something from Great Britain.

Quick update... Received an email from Jodie at Attitude and she told me that when they ship to my state (Hawaii) they always use registered mail. She didn't say why, but makes me feel better. Will go sign for beans tomorrow at post office.

That's bullshit, I've ordered from attitude more than 10x and I never had to sign for my delivery up until this week. My order came in on Monday to my work mailbox like always but this time when I checked it I had the same pink slip stating that a signature was required and that I had to pick it up @ the post office. I wasn't going to go to the post office for shit so I requested for a redelivery, Tuesday comes and luckily I was coming out of my office as soon as carrier was coming in I asked for my package and he told I had to sign which caught me off guard since I never had to do that. But what even wierde is that when I payed the attitude the girl on the phone was asking for more information than normal, suchs as where was the gift card registered, whbose name is it on, from what bank and state. I was confused and told the lady that I'm not giving her no extra info and that I've always paid the same way with no problems, she ran the card and like always it went thru with no problems. So I don't know what the fuck is new @ the tude but requesting for a sig is not ij my book

Pick them up no issues. I acted shocked that I received something from Great Britain. But, having talk to Jodie at Attitude, was told that all shipments to Hawaii will require signature.

NOW... My Nirvana order was seized and all contents confiscated. There was a Customs letter inside saying I could contact them to claim my stuff and that a follow up letter would be sent in 30 days. Not sure what all that means, but will lay low for a while. Anybody else get a Customs letter (sure many have)? Will there be continuous harassment from these guys, knocks at the door, etc.?

Bummed at Nirvana Stealth shipping... They wrote "Holland" big as fawk on the parcel which looks like a dead give away. There was also a tin of mints inside shaking around which also sounded like seeds. What a rookie move on their part. Damn thing was practically screaming "open me". WTF.

So, is the infamous Customs letter the end or am I going to gets summoned to come see them?
