hello there.

well I am about to purchase a DR40 just because it is

my first grow. I have a couple question that I would like

answered by some people that seem to be very knowledgeable.

1) What kind of lighting should I use? (DR40 is 16.8x16.8x48 inches)

2) Is it necessary to buy an inline fan?

3) How many clones do you think I could fit inside the tent?

Hey everyone, I just got my DR100(L), It has a lot of light leaks, and pinholes, Im fixing them though. I love the tent though.
Heres what I got in it
400w hps with MH conversion Bulb
EasyCool 6 air cooled reflector
6'' 424 cfm fan and 6'' filter.

Now my big question and concern Is the Passive intake. How do I light proof it? What are you guys doing as far as lightproof passive intake goes, thanks for the help guys!
Oh, and in germ I have
5 Barneys farm tangerine dream
and 1 Afghani Kush from next generation,
any one have experience with these strains?

Whats up bro??? I also just bought a dr-40 it was used and i paid 35 bucks for it. Im also wondering the same as you. Right now i have 1-68w cfl (flowering red) + 1-24w cfl (flowering red). with a small fan i bought from walmart. In about two weeks after my clones have rooted im gonna try to fit in atleast 2-4 2 gallon smart pots or 4-5 square pots. not sure yet of which ones.

for the dr40 i say 150 - 250 watt hps or cfl

how did you seal the light leaks?

my dr120 has tons of leaks came with a tear which i repaired with a couple kevlar patches with adhesive, the store gave me 50 bucks back on the tent so that was cool. as for the others i think im going to have to drape some light proof fabric over all sides because of all the light leaks and pinholes and leaks from zipper. im about to go into flower so i got to get it light proof ot trying to stress my fem plants and have them go hermie im already seeing pre-flowers on several.

Damn. Mine has a few leaks aswell, pinhole leaks all around the zips. Where did you get the kevlar to fix the tear? It might come in handy

Are darkrooms known for having light leaks in them?

i dont think 2x600's could handle 100 3-4 foot plants lol. maybe 100 sog plants. What are others doing with the dr240w?

I just ordered two DR60, 250Watt Digital ballast. i plan on doing a sea of green in each DR60 on 2x2 flood tables 12-15 small plants in each chamber. Any objections?

18 plants that size cuz you can fit 9 in my dr120 and a 240w is twice the space of a dr120

bought blackout fabric to drape over my dr120 in flower b/c of all the pinholes and light leaks thru zippers, growing remmed seeds so i don't want any hermies 4m light leaks.

i have a dr 120 and my grow store carries the homebox so i have checked them out a lot, and overall i like the Jardin better still. even with the leaks it was more light tight out of the box. and the jardin zippers aren't bad, but no grow tent is completely light tight period. no brand is light tight completely and my zippers aren't bad on mine. and the jardin cost less.

i just grown 3 dutch passion blueberry plans dry'd and cured. and most say some so0me good shit, but one think i must say is poeple say "she doesnt take nutes well" i disagree if you grow the babys in canna coco with canna nutes you can feed them as heavy as you can and they just ask for more!!
