i have a bunch of 150watt cfl bulbs,if i use 3 150 cfls for each plant would that be enough light or should i go bigger.if you think bigger what watt cfl and how many and do i leave the lights all at the top of plant or what??? need help please, dont want to fuck these up!!! thanks for any help

do you mean actual 150w cfls or 150 incandesent equivelent watts? surrounding the plants with the lights so the plant is bathed in light all over is the way to go.
equivalent to 150watt cfls and thanks on the bathing them in light makes alot of sence!!!

it will work alright. i have done grows using a few stronger cfls and grows with more smaller cfls more spread out and closer to the plant and personally i prefer more small bulbs. also, being someone who has grown with cfls alot in the past im not one of the people who bash cfls then say you must use hid but dude look at it this way, 10 of my 40w cfls put out about 27,000 lumens(and heat can be hard to deal with), my 400w hps puts out 55,000 lumens(and is hooked up to a nice cooltube which sucks the heat out right away so temps are no problem at all) so with the hps you get twice the bang for your buck and much faster and fuller growth. it seems like your pretty serious about growing and that would be a very wise and gainful purchase, after the first grow with it you should easily get back what you paid for the light in good high quality weed and most importantly still have the light to grow even more awesome weed for a long time.
