Now I have switched the lamps, keeping only one 6500K 23W lamp and 8 2700K lamps in my light panel, unfortunately out of my 5 plants from 11 seeds, fron whom only 6 germinated and only 5 survived i got only one female plant, better than nothing, and this girl will definately feel comfortable alone in my tight closet grow. I had this one LST`d several times and now i have released the strain on the stalk. Came out real bushy and i had some clones taken from this one, as it was very bushy.
As i`m not a breeder I disposed of all four male plants, they showed the singns of being male in very late vegetative period, but I waited to see if it would sprout some pistils, unfortunately they didnt.
The one girl is starting to smell real nice, now just the waiting game, let it begin. I suppose later, when buds are becoming larger and heavyer i`ll add some support to the plant.
Fertilisers I use are not the standart ones which everyone uses as I have no access to them in this northern/eastern Europe country but as almost everyone is growing their own tomatoes and cucumbers and other edibles, we have a wide variety of local fertilisers which are very good, with all microingerdients and macros as well. Right now i`m using one which is meant for orchids when they bloom, seems promising. As the season is ending and all my garden vegetables have almost been harvested, then I suppose i`ll have to install some heating element in the grow closet, had already our first frost, but heating is not yet up in the flat.
Here is my only girl from the lot. Had all the typical female plant signs, was the shortest one, and wasnt as strechy as others. My hidsight kind of told me so. But will post anther entry after a week or two.
Any input, advice or comment would be helpful.
