So my first grow went pretty well. It started off I have a 2 1/2' by 3' closet. The walls are cover 4 feet high. The ventilatiois poor I am almost completely out of options so far. But I have two small 4" fans that don't osocilate, I know that is spelt wrong but whatever. It is all powered by a 600w hps. It started off with 6 plants of reg bag seeds this was my first grow I wanted to get the kinks out of the before I buy smething nice. They all we in 7" pots . I picked up this soil called biobuzz light mix. The only thing I was cheap on was fert I used some mircle gro I know shame on me. One died in the begining when I transplanted it. Then there were 5. Everything was going great until one day I come home from work and it turns out that one of the fans rattled itself off it's little pad and crushed my biggest one at that time. Not only did it crush it but it also chopped up some of the plant with it's blades, I cried. Then there were 4. Then all was good for a while. I placed them into flowering they were 12, 10, 9, 8 inches. I read that they will double or triple in height in that stage. They got pretty big don't know exact heights though. Two turned out to be males I cut them down immedately. Then the buds started forming and everything was great nice, good crystals they were starting to turn red then I bought a procket microscope to watch trichome formations. They got white then milky then some turned amber most where still milky. Then I had to go out off town for two days and I read that you shouldn't water them for two days before you cut them. When I got some and the plants were unbelievablely dry. One was not salvagable the other was. Then there was one still growing and one drying. Then I let it sit for a week with a one of the fans on it in the complete dark. When I weighed it it was just over 30g. It seemed way to leafy but very sticky I think it was cause of the fert and it's extremely high ntrogen count used during flowering. I let the last plant chill for another two weeks till more tris were amber to see it if would help with the leafy bud problem. I just cut it last night and trimmed it and this time I didn't use the not water for two days I just cut down. It is hanging upside down in the dark with a fan. My major questions are what is a good fert for veg and flowering. Then what's the best way to dry and cure. What's the biggest size grow with my light can i have. I'm thinking of moving it.
