You need to do some reading because. You don't even know the basics. Ph is completely different in hydro, 5.6-6.1, and lower on the range for veg and higher for flower. You are getting ready to have a bad algae problem if you don't cover that rockwoool.

Biggest thing you're gonna run into as for PH fluctuation is your res temps.. If you don't keep those low and steady.. Your PH is going to jump all over the place.

it stay pretty much at 7.2 never lower or higher
Yeah that is pretty much the pH range for tap water. So now asking what brand/model meter are you using? Do you know how to calibrate it and, if you do, when is the last time it was calibrated? Also you say it is "staying" at that range. How are you adjusting it?

Well i am using a strip tester an it seems to just be staying at that ph range i ordered a meter offline should be here monday.... i check the water 1 time a day before i feed them..i am hoping with this new meter i can get a better reading an then figure out how to lower the ph to safe lvls cuz 7.5 is high. i am doing my flush next week to start them flowering an i want everything to be perfect for that thanks the reply's. i am new to this only second grow an first hydro grow i have been reading alot be its easier for me to ask ? then read for them in pages of pages of notes

So are you using some acid to bring your pH down? I'm not that experienced at hydro but just chopped a White Skunk this morning. No matter what I did, the last 2 weeks she stayed at 6.0 - 6.1 which was cool for calcium and magnesium both. That was with me trying to bring her down to 5.7 for any length of time. Then pulled it apart and she had literally swallowed the air lines and the stainless tow hook I had them weighted down with. I mean she had literally pulled that snatch hook up into the root system which was massive! So I am seeing how she kept adjusting her own pH.

Thats pushing serious limits on the ppm for such little plants. I dont even go over 1050 in full bloom.
I am using Bc Nutez an my plants are thriving i water on time a day so i think the high nuts is good once a day i am growing in rockwool so i dont have to water as much as most they seem to be ok these clones were almost dead when i got them I am in Maine an people here suck at grwoing clones just got some good seeds i can start for my next crop sux when you cant get good clones to start i had to bring these back to life

They may be thriving now but when the massive amounts of salts build up it will only take a few days for them to look not so good.

Superstoner1 is right! 5.9-6.4 is IMO to high. My girls get very unhappy over 6.2 and even that is pushing the limit of my strain 5.8 is just right for them. Watch your TDS levels and see what they do but it does seem abit high, but it is my understanding that some strains like low PPM and some like it high. I watch mine and adjust according to how it fluctuates. I have just started growing hydro myself and yes keep asking questions, you'll soon learn to distinguish the good awnsers from the bad ones lol.

Yea my PH is 5.8 an i dropped myppm to 1100 due to some concerns it was to high we shall see my first hydro grow an i think i may be a lil lost but i will figure it out i am running a flush next week.... then its on to flowering
