Second go around, Stop by, say Hi, let me know what you think.

Hello everyone, I'm new to this site. Just want to share what I'm cureentry running. I have a 2x2x4 tent and have 7 seeds that I have planted in solo cups, 3 of which have shown themselves already. I have a 300w Mars Hydro L.E.D, I also have a few cfls for supplimental lighting and to also raise the temp in my tent a bit, as it is my basement which stays pretty cool.

Hell ya! Good luck man. I'm running a couple of those Mars LEDs as well. Used to be all about the hps, but the LED's are just so much cooler and don't kill the power bill.

you can strill burn plants with LED's, the light can be too intense. I wouldn't go below 8 inches over young plants, I'd start around 12.

Also unless they have made improvements, which looking at their website they haven't, those Mars panels suck and have been outdated for at least 2 years. The price: performance ratio is no where near what a DIY light can do.

Lol, everyone seems to be 50/50 on led vs hps...I think it's everyone's own preference. I can see pro and cons to both sides.

Unfortunately I do not know what strains these plants will be, these are all bagseed, but they come from good bud. I do know that they are all likely to be an indica or indica dominant hybrid, As that is usually my preference for my personal.

I'm very excited about this second grow. I felt as though I learned a lot throughout my first grow.

I'm using LED's.

It's nothing to do with HPS vs. LED it's those Mars panels are outdated by a number of years. I'm pretty sure a 2-3 COB vero29 gen.7 build will outshine any panel mars makes for a fraction of the cost.

Ah, gotcha. I will definitely look ino some better lighting down the road... I also added 2 42w cfl and 2 23w cfl, little better lighting and it brings my temps up to the mid 70s. I just can't believe they all sprouted, not they they aren't viable seeds, just a few years old....guess I stored them properly, lol

New pictures, few more days and I'm transplanting, I do not care for the medium they are in right now, good for seed starting but when they get more complex root systems I don't think It'll be suitable to my needs. Kinda a weird curvature on one.

Nice man, wish you the best on your grow. I had to scale down my area myself and run a 3'3 x 3'3 x 6 tent for the time being. I am running 4 x mars 300's which will do the job just fine. I would say if your looking for a decent LED light that wont break the bank go with a Viparspectra par600 as I am doing, they run about $250 and def increase your bottom end. I set my lights at least 24" off the seedlings for the first week and gradually lower them to 12" over the next 2 weeks and never run into burn issues.

Transplant into their final homes happened Sunday afternoon. They look happy

Started lst yesterday, coming along :) As stated before these are unknown strains, I do believe one of them is a heavy indica, with the other 3 being hybrids of some sort. Just a guess from leaf patterns.
