My point, former ASU student, was that a $15 min wage is indeed already in effect in the Seattle area. And Seattle has already begun raising their min wage.

Yeah, it sure seems like some of these politicians who championed such a drastic increase would have paid some think tanks to do some educated forecasts on just how the increase would affect the people who got it...and determined the true overall benefit to them, considering their possible disqualification from current welfare programs based upon their increase in pay.
But politicians are too fucking stupid to do that when there are so many votes out there to be bought...
