Season pretty much over.

Had some mold issues due to morning dew. Just had 3 days of solid rain, then a few days to get the sun back. Thought I had the mold under control, till I checked everything today, plants are covered in mold, id say some plants have 30% of their buds covered in mold.. what the hell do I do?....

id chop and then try to salvage it by freezing it or butane/iso extract everything before it spreads. If you grow indoors and have a CO2 tank and a grow tent or closet then put the plant in the closet and fill the closet with co2 after youve chopped it. this should kill off any remaining mold by robbing it of oxygen.

you can also use dry ice to do this. be careful though! co2 can kill ya if it leaks to the wrong room

if you don't chop right away i would definitely cut out the mold so it doesn't spread. Also Actinovate as a foliar has saved me from mold a few times.

dammit! sorry to hear that mushroom head - yeah it's time for them to go - it will only get worse until the whole plant is ruined. when you do chop her down, put her in a slightly warmer and drier than normal environment - I'd shoot for 75 f and about 40% - for 24 hours, then you can probably safely scale the temp back and the humidity up for the rest of the drying process.

Maybe 7 weeks into flower, needed 8 to finish. If I cut off the molded bud, Can I safely smoke the rest of the bud? I cant believe this happened, buds the size of coke cans, ruined...

Sorry to hear that man but that's the risk we take to grow outdoor it's to be eexpected to loose some bud due to bbugs rot aand mold I know I have had to cut half a plant up from mold and I ffind myself cutting ggood buds off and throwing them away cuz there are worms all over. Best of luck to youan and one week I would jus chop! But that's me your only one week away and if iit continues iit can spread rapidly in this last week. But I plan on making bho with the stuff unsalvageable and shit I would rather not smoke.

Id keep all the moldy shit, dry it out in an oven at a really low temp. around 200 ish. this will activate the thc and should help kill the mold and dry it out so any still alive will be lacking water to stay alive.

then id put it all into a bag or tupperware and toss it into the freezer. This will have effects on the taste and the smell terpines probably, but most of the thc and canabinoids should be salvagable.

After that id run it through alcohol, butane, dry ice, etc... and allow that extract to fully evaporate all its volatile chemicals.

Also if anyone has lung infections such as bronchitis or a bad cough i wouldnt let them smoke the first few tests just incase there is any mold left that could get into there lungs and cause some sort of increase or different infection/disease.

But for those with health immune systems and bodies we can handle most molds to a degree.

You have to "over cut " the molded area during removal and also keep any cutting from touching the plant during the operation...mold spores are easily rendered airborne. It's a tough job but considering 7th week well worth it...

Looks like Ill pick up a syringe filter and make some iso oil with the molded buds, I have atleast a quarter pound of molded bud. Id really like to cut out the molded parts and let the plants finish, but im not sure if thats a smart idea...

cut off the mold now and wait a 2 days if more starts chop if not you get your week so its ready,your almost there

i had it happen to me last year...i just harvested and chopped the bud rot out. once that shit sets in you're done...need to harvest and salvage what you can...and don't smoke that bud rot shit...
