Searching for the best grape/purple strains

Can anyone vouch for a seed producer that makes quality Grape Ape or GDP genetics?

I am searching for grape/purple strains that are heavy and narcotic to treat chronic illness. I’d also be open to other strains if someone had a good recommendation.

Thanks everyone :)

CSI Humbolt works with GDP, Grape Ape, Purple Urkle, and Mendo Purps genetics.
I highly recommend them.

Thanks for the reply and solid recommendation.

I’m really hoping he will make S1’s of that GDP he’s been working with lately. The crosses he’s made so far haven’t interested me.

I have his old family purple variations and I will probably go for those if I don’t find Grape Ape or GDP somewhere reliable.

CSI has a Grape Ape x Runtz cross. I grew some out and they definitely leaned to the Grape Ape side of the lineage. It’s the best Grape Ape representation Ivefound in seed form.
I had the Grape Ape clone only for several years before losing it to spider mites.

Be careful with S1’s from the purple genetics I listed above. Purple S1’s never seem to hit the bullseye, it’s usually when they’re outcrossed to another Purple plant that gives the best results. From what I’ve seen, CSI’s Mendo Purple Urkle 3.5, is the best way to go for truly purple genetics, for that very reason.

Native Sun Genetics/Cartier Crops has a great Grape Stomper, they F2'd their own version of the original

Purple Punch IMO is a good choice, it's not "exactly" grape but more like a purple sports drink. It ticks similar boxes though

.

I'm currently growing grand daddy purple, purple urkle, purple kush and romulan, looking for a great couch lock strain for sleep. I harvested gdp and purple urkle, they're in one of my cannatrol cool cures, are dried but need 3 more days of curing before I can test it.

I've also got seeds for Mother Of Berries that is suppose to have a strong blueberry taste and sedative qualities. Blueberry, skunkberry and chem dawg to round off my second grow.

Cross anything with pck that line is purple dominated but not super potent i think alot of breeders use it for the colours alone any stardog after version 4 uses a male with purple traits a purple stardog pheno isnt bad smoke either as purples go plus my mother finds that pretty effective for pain with arthritis osteoporosis and fibromyalgia so might help others with similar problems as for grape stuff as others say csi got a number of things that suit that

This is great information. Thanks for sharing. I was not aware of the S1 issues.

I will keep my eye out for those crosses to get restocked.

That sounds like a great idea. Exploring some PCK genetics would be great. Hopefully one day my plant count will be higher.

I have been looking for something close to Old Man Purps for a while. Isn't that supposed to be a PCK pheno? Kurple Fantasy by Cult Classic was the only breeder I've seen work with the cut. Have you seen anything in that direction?

Thanks for the direction. I have heard mixed things about them as a bank. What have your experiences been like with them?
They are the only bank that has hawgsbreath trinity aloha white widow cinex afghani bullrider kryptonite m39 the list goes on.

My experience is they are legit and im finicky and informed

Like any bank that sells fems from rare clones you might get a bad seed or a mixed up strain but im willing to bet 9 out of 10 you ll get the real thing.

I have 25+ strains of theirs, only grown out a couple and they are legit. I have about 40 more im in the process of aquireing. .

Hope that helps...

Thank you for the endorsement. I saw some male/female packs on Attitude UK but I hadn't heard of the breeder.

What types of flavors and effects did you find in them?
The GDP was my favorite for the longest time and still has a place in my heart. I still use pollen from a male GDP from 2014 to make crosses today. Love the uniformity, huge yield, super frosty, very resilient plant to mold and pests great for outdoors and finishes super fast. The flavor is a sweet grape, blackberry, and some skunk in there, the phenos dont vary much either. . After a full joint my sciatica pain would become tolerable and if I ever had a headache I would take a couple puffs and it would subside. Its a great smoke to sleep as well. I bought the regular seeds and made more of my own with the male I saved. Ended up with a thousand seeds from one small plant, I gave alot away but I grew out alot as well up until 2019 then ran out. I might get some more and make another GDP stash of seeds. Always good to have.

Theres many phenos in pck some berry fruity some more gassy some lemony ones too most are purple tho another one to look into is the old viking line old danish strain that throws more purple than green phenos and is hardy as hell anything you cross it to will be more hardy and earlier thats a 8 weeks or less bloom time and is the parent of top44 among some others you can still get seeds of it via some nordic places that was one of the more potent old purple strains from back in the day its a cross of two afghan strains meant to be but wernard forget exactly what two
