Sealed room pro's

Ok you guys.... Those that run 10 to 20 light sealed rooms..... I just found a wharehouse... Awsome location....Older locaton... No fire sprinklers... No inspections.... Plenty of power.... Water, sewer etc.... I run a 8 light room right now... and I have to say for the most part you cannot smell anything outside.... But it is a location away from people.... well this place has a wharehouse right next door... which the owner of the building runs a business.... He would be around.... I plan on putting a 15 by 30 foot commercial walk in fridge.... he know this will be going in for my business.... uhmmm... restaurant business :)... He has no problems with the AC units being in there, me putting exhaust system to keep the compressors cool.... But.... he has no idea what would be really going on... are any of you that are running some medium size sealed rooms that are in close proximity risky situation going on that is similar.... Just curious... and the price per month is awsome... so I need some real world advice on weather to walk away and keep looking or if you would give her a try....

well would he wonder how u keep paying rent and never open resturant
and if u plan to really open one there which i dont think u do then u got health inspector to deal with
and trust me they are thorough in their searchs

i think it is bad location
and u need a better front

Thanks for the response... Yeah I will probably walk, but my front is that I need to expand my refrigerated storage to buy in bulk to help reduce food cost by buying in bulk... I m already in the food business and it is quite a large operation and feeds 2000 plus meals a day and most people around here know about it so I don't think they would question the front being used....

So this guy does own the building you're looking to lease/rent?

If it's a good enough of a location, just build a "front" and a half before one enters the op. Front little office area and then another middle room of what ever you can come up with....This way you can have the reg. front door, the door separating the office and middle room, and then a third entrance to the op all as lines of security...If someone breaks in, they have to go through all of that too, ya know.

If it doesn't smell, just use it as a front and you just use the back for storage....don't get all specific about it to him if you don't have to........
