Scrog?

As a beginner I was wondering if the scrog technique would be best for me. It looks fairly easy but what the hell do I know I'm an amateur.

you can use a net over the top of your plants that is secured to posts at a certain height to discourage the plants from growing to tall. This method is best used when you want to maximize yield with fewer plants.
Best thing to do right now, is get used to growing. pick a technique and stick with it till the end. switching systems midway is never a good idea. You and your plants will suffer by the changes made.

i agree if you are a noob grower I suggest you do a regular DWC grow get the hang of things first then on your next grow try out some different techniques.

I have 8 ft ceilings. I guess the scrog technique is only needed by people with height restrictions? The only reason I was considering it was to increase my yield

Same height as my ceiling and I let my plants Veg for almost 9 weeks even under a 1000W HPS they are under 6 feet tall.

I say you should give it a shot. It's not all that hard to do if you have the technological know how to use the advanced hammer and nail. It spreads out your canopy which increases your yield. Just cause someone is a new grower doesn't mean they don't want more yield, that's just silly. It's not hard man do it.

Hey man scrog away if you want... it aint shit to do, Im fairly new to growing... and fuck my first style of grow was a diy aeroponics sysyem. I have been thinking about scrog, but I dont wanna do it because its kinda makes changing out nutes and shyt a real pain in the ass!

you might wanna look into LST (low stress training) I am doing it now, I figure its kinda like scrog cept you use string to tie down branches instead of a net to keep the canopy even. but whatever it is you decide you wanna do go for it... I personally like jumping all in on something.. fuck going the easy way.
