I’m looking to try a scrog for first time!
I usually put 4 plants in 1.2m2 space.

mum now thinking of doing 5 but doing a scrog.

will the yield rise?
Or will it lesser as the space is smaller?

Anyone doing a 1m2 5 plants advise would be help!

Thanks in advance

I would do 4 because its pain in the ass to try reach that one in the middle. If u grow in tent with 3 doors its pretty easy to handle one plant in each corner.
If u do scrog properly (nice full canopy etc) one more plant aint going to do anything to yield imo.

Yeah I did think the centre one would be a ballache! I have surround accesss so I’ll give 5 a go and hopefully it’s better yeild

thanks

Too many plants in the space if you SCROG. Listen to the guy above who suggested 2 plants. That will more than fill the screen in that small amount of space.

I'm not certain why you'd ask advice from people with experience doing something that you are new to and then ignore all the advice, but you should really listen to what is being recommended. Scrog is, and always has been, about achieving a larger, more even canopy with less plants. If you are totally set on increasing your plant count you should forget about Scrog and just run sea of green.

totaly agree, less is more. less plants, better air circulation leading to less problems. more space to work in with a better return spaced out nicely.
you had the best advice and chose your own. strange, i never understand some newbies

Plant count has very little impact on yield. The limiting factor is the size of the room or tent. And there's a lot of variables you can dial in to max out the yield you can pull from your space but about 2 ounces per square foot is the max.

Scrog definately helps to fill a tent and it makes better use of the available light. But if you are going to try a scrog and throw 5 plants into a 4x4 then you are probably not getting the idea.

You would need to run a really short veg otherwise you will have a mess to deal with during flower.
