I've never netted and I never will. Simply too much work. LST is effective but they still stunt somewhat, and you compromise the main cola. Topping is a train screeching to a halt.
In this grow I'm using three lights in a 30x60inch shower; one centered, pointing typically down from 12 noon position, and two more, a little lower, one at 10am and one at 2pm. Total wattage 840 led. The angled fixtures light the side branches with the same intensity the top colas receives. The plants are rotated 1/4 turn daily. I've never had a better looking garden at seven weeks from germination. They are three weeks into flower. So far, I'm a believer in creating a 'dome of light'. I'll keep you posted on yield results. Looks to be strong as of now. DOL!
Is anyone else growing with angled fixtures?
